In our last blog we revealed some details regarding PM Skerrit’s personal acquisition of the Brand-New Kia Sorento (2024). Since then, we are even more convinced that the purchase of this vehicle served as a means to detract from the scandal involving Skerrit’s demand for an exclusive vehicle to take his kids to school. Let’s call it School Ride -Gate). Following yesterday’s disclosure MiTC investigators went ahead in search of more information on that Kia Sorento and we were able to come up with some added details which the people of Dominica deserve to know about.

Upon further investigation we discovered the Black SUV Kia Sorento Vehicle Registration number PA 3417. We were also able to locate the vehicle which is now parked at the Police Headquarters.  

Here is a question to consider- Why is Skerrit’s personal vehicle being parked at the police Headquarters?   Why not at one of his mansions in Morne Daniel?

As we have reported, on Monday November 25 PM Skerrit quite interestingly waited for the end of the work day to go over to the traffic department to have the vehicle registered in his name.  That meant that he powered his way into having the traffic officers stay after working hours just to have the vehicle registered on that particular date. Note that this condescending letter denying his involvement in the School Ride-Gate was dated November 25. In this letter he states “I have proceeded to purchase a personal vehicle which shall be used to transport my children to and from school.” The more they cover-up is the more we see.  

If there is one thing that Skerrit and his goons understand very well is that it is much easier to fool a man than it is to convince him that he is being taken for a fool but just remember everyone, Skerrit supporters included ,a man becomes a fool only when he stops asking question.

Ask yourself whether you, the everyday man could go to auto trade in a hurry with $190,000 in cash to buy a vehicle and not experience Anti Money Laundering checkpoints? Everyday people experience galling stoppages and questioning for financial transactions as little as EC $8000.

For those who are familiar with PM Skerrit’s corruption scandal such as the Bin Bobol, Fertilizer Bobol, the 8 villas in Savanne Pailles and the Land Transfer scandal there is one common element in all this malfeasance and that is the “Cover up”

A cover-up by definition is “an attempt to conceal evidence of wrongdoing, error, incompetence, or other embarrassing information. The expression is usually applied to people in positions of authority who abuse power to avoid or silence criticism or to deflect guilt of wrongdoing.”

With regards to the Bin Bobol and Fertilizer Bobol after getting expose by Mo Green and Lennox Linton, Skerrit and his handlers used a few surrogates in Barbados and Antigua and some “Zazi Moozailles “money laundering schemes to return the stolen money back to the treasury.

With regards to the 8 Villas in Savanne Pailles when it was discovered that Skerrit was the owner of a $9 Million dollar Villa project less than three years after becoming prime minister, he conspired with Portsmouth businessman Renneth Alexis so that Renneth would front as the owner of the Villa complex.  You know who could give us a very good account of this sham between Skerrit and Renneth Alexis? The Plucked Chicken former magistrate who just two weeks ago received A" Jaws of Life"  economic rescue from the same Roosevelt Skerrit.

A few months ago, we reported on the action taken by Skerrit and coconspirator Collin McIntyre when the news of the Land Transfer scandal broke. While Anthony Astaphan and other Skerrit defenders were launching verbal assaults on the concern citizens, PM Skerrit and  Collin McIntyre(aka Astaphan’s korboss)  were busy trying to clean up the mess. The title to the land in question was quickly transferred to Collin McIntyre’s girlfriend, name, Eselyn Reyner.  

The recent scandal involving Skerrit’s request for a $186,000 vehicle exclusively for the purpose of driving his kids to school has turned out to be a major embarrassment and in true form the apologists like Belle Ti Cochon aka Shinning Zandoli, The Two Teeth Box Bunny Bottom Brain, Mal Twavailles Simeon Albert et al are all spinning lies and excuses for Skerrit’s criminal behavior. We have not heard from the horned Senior "clownsel"  Anthony Astaphan but as soon as he verifies Collin McIntyre’s whereabout we will soon hear from him.  

MiTC can confirm that on Monday November 25, 2024, the same day the $186,000 document was leaked, PM Skerrit supposedly rushed to purchase a brand new 2024 Kia Sorento at Auto Trade and on that same afternoon -after normal working hours, had the vehicle registered in his name.  An online search shows that a 2024 Kia Sorento would cost over $190,000 at the dealership in Canfield Dominica.

Was it a coincidence that on the same day of the leaked document that Skerrit allegedly bought and registered a vehicle in his name? Unlike the case of the infamous Jeep Wrangler he didn't even try to hide his ownership - Ask yourself why ,when he has been using surrogates to mask the acquisition of his valuable properties and real estate.

 It is noteworthy that in the case of the Jeep Wrangler he took great care in insuring that the registration documents would not identify him as the owner. The Jeep Wrangler in question was allegedly acquired through the Passport vending operation and that PM Skerrit and his wife Melissa had misrepresented the year of the vehicle in order to avoid due import duty and taxes. A little more on that Jeep Wrangler later.   

Because Skerrit has a history of trying to conceal his cache of malfeasance in government, the seemingly desultory purchase of the 2024 Kia Sorento appears to be a move to dampen the scandal and to discredit the information in the leaked document. By purchasing his own vehicle maybe, the concern about the lack of garbage pickup services, terrible healthcare, unpaid government bills, inadequate equipment for the fire department etc would be moot or that with the acquisition of his own vehicle the leak document would be validated as just another fake news article propagated by the UWP?  But alas There is no perfect cover up though, because someone in Skerrit’s crime organization should have given the grovelers, Belle Ti Cochon and Two Teeth Box Bunny a heads up before they went on Kairi Radio to spin garbage. 

But then again Belle Ti Cochon and Two Teeth Box Bunny are two former senior public servants who worked 40 years in the government service yet can't afford to buy  one tire on Skerrit's 2024 Kia Sorento yet they see nothing wrong with a politician who came into office like a "Vere Tere" (Earth Worm) , couldn't afford a tricycle and is now rich beyond measure; very likely the richest politician in the Caribbean. These two bootlickers know very well that it is impossible to become a millionaire let alone a billionaire on a public servant salary. The most dangerous human beings are those who really believe their own lies 

 “The cover-up is worse than the crime”

Attempts to obscure wrongdoing often leads to more severe consequences than the original misdeed but so far after every scandal of misconduct Skerrit continues to receive more privileges to commit more crimes in Dominica. With the ongoing construction of his second mansion in Morne Daniel, the recent expansion, remodeling and refurnishing of his Vielle Case mansion, mas acquisition of real estate property and now the seemingly cursory purchase of the 2024 Kia Sorento one would expect the systems of state responsible for checks and balances to at least do some investigation. Former prime minister Edison James was investigated when he was falsely accused of owning a hotel in Barbados. Senior "Clownsel" Antony Hornstaphan can atest to that.

Let us not forget that when it was also leaked that Skerrit had also hatched out for himself a $32000 per month allowance to rent allegedly his own mansion in Morne Daniel, instead of being contrite he arrogantly told the people that he will build another palace for himself, and so he did. The new mansion is estimated at about $20 Million

How is the Prime Minister and frankly his Cabal able to keep on accumulating so much unsubstantiated wealth?   

We understand that the three person Integrity in Public Office Commission (IPO) is really an illusory operation. One member allegedly, may be at the point of senility and we say so without malice but with sincerest sympathy. Another member as we know it must curry favor with the Skerrit administration- he too needs an economic Jaw of life from the Skerrit crime syndicate. With regards to the third member Cara Shillingford, we know by her past action that she is a true patriot and has demonstrated her readiness to act on behalf of the people as a member of the IPO but alas a pebble is not a damn in a flowing stream of moral depravity.

We there not forget that it was only because of Cara Shillingford’s action at the IPO that Skerrit and Melissa were forced to park that very same Jeep Wrangler which was allegedly obtained through the passport selling operation- the people's money.

.Evil unchecked grows, Evil tolerated poisons an entire nation. 

We have created a monster, and that monster is out of control; his greed is unsatiable and is increasingly unconscionable but even more this monster is showing us truly who we are and what we have become. 

The anecdote of the Plucked Chicken has been recounted innumerable times, yet it never gets repetitive. Why -because in life the chickens among us like Ian Douglas , Joseph Isaacs, Kapitolin , Keresa and now Tiyanni  Robert Douglas Behazin , they disgracefully present themselves for cause play in the tale of Joseph Stalin’s Pluck Chicken.

 The anecdote of the Plucked Chicken illustrates the diabolic motive of a dictator with the urge to reassure his dominance over a subjugated people.

As Marxism began to collapse in the Soviet Union, a Soviet novelist Chingiz Aitmatov retold the narrative of brutal dictator Joseph Stalin and the Plucked Chicken. He narrated that

 “On one occasion, Stalin called for a live chicken and proceeded to use it to make an unforgettable point before some of his henchmen. Forcefully clutching the chicken in one hand, with the other he began to systematically pluck out its feathers. As the chicken struggled in vain to escape, he continued with the painful denuding until the bird was completely stripped. “Now you watch,” Stalin said as he placed the chicken on the floor and walked away with some bread crumbs in his hand. Incredibly, the fear-crazed chicken hobbled toward him and clung to the legs of his trousers. Stalin threw a handful of grain to the bird, and it began to follow him around the room, he turned to his dumbfounded colleagues and said quietly, “This is the way to rule the people. Did you see how that chicken followed me for food, even though I had caused it such torture? People are like that chicken. If you inflict inordinate pain on them they will follow you for food the rest of their lives.”

 If someone had asked me to pick someone in Dominica to provide a lecture on the urban legend of the Plucked Chicken, Tiyanni  “Robert Douglas” Behazin would have been someone to consider but Tiyanni himself has become that denuded chicken. Alas pap bondieur Skerrit jik pwen gwen Tiyanni!!!!.

Besides claiming to be the Labor Party Prodigal Son returning to an organization that Tiyanni hinted is responsible for the death of his beloved father , the Lion Rosie Douglas.Tiyani attempt to convince the gullible among us that he volunteered to be Skerrit’s Plucked Chicken, all for the betterment of the nation. For those of us who cannot be fooled all the time we know that this is all Bull Sh**t and Tiyanni himself knows that it is all Poppycock.

It really makes no sense at all that in order to combat poverty affliction you join the very forces and architects of poverty and economic slavery. The idea that these spineless chickens (Ian Douglas, Joseph Isaacs, Kapitolin , Karessa and now Tiyanni ) must reposition themselves at the top of the trough to make life better for the struggling people of Dominica is ludicrous, asinine and insulting. This is some real Jim Jones cultish nonsense that can only be fed to the brainwashed. Everyone knows that the more parasites at the top of the trough the more detrimental it gets for the less fortunate at the bottom of the trough.

Besides getting an economic lifeline from the Skerrit crime syndicate did Joseph Isaac investiture into Skerrit’s crime ring alleviate destitution and poverty in Dominica? In fact, since then abject poverty has grown exponentially in Dominica. It is no secret that Joseph Isaac was in severe economic difficulties before getting plucked by Skerrit -he was politically persecuted, his old pickup truck, with dilapidated tires and air-filled gas tank was not road worthy, his “kwedi sa payais” legacy and failing businesses was the talk of the town. He was at the moment the perfect abused soulless  chicken for Skerrit’s "Stalinesk" demonstration.

There is much speculation that Tiyanni himself may be finding it very difficult to get by in Dominica’s grueling economic environment and that may be the reason Skerrit chose him as another chicken to be plucked. We cannot confirm those allegations regarding Tiyanni’s personal economy however there is no denying that destitution is at code red level in Dominica and that unless one gets into the inner circle of the Skerrit Kleptocracy no one is spared from the scourge of DLP economic slavery.

One thing we learn is that Skerrit repeatedly says in private that “every man has his price “ (Kapitolin can confirm that and if he says its not true – let’s just say a liar thinks everyone lies) Following Tiyanni’s come back to daddy moment in Vielle Case, Skerrit called for more battered opposition people to come eat the breadcrumbs from his hands and  we could very well see more chickens presenting themselves for Skerrit pleasure.

Let’s be real though; every man does have a price but in the words of Napoleon – how low is that man willing to state his price and which man is willing to have his dignity guard him instead of having to guard his dignity? 

In as much as we would like to dwell on the fact that dignity is a critical factor in  morality, ethics, law and politics we should really at this moment be asking HTF did we get to the point where in a moribund economy professionals on the island , lawyers included can’t even afford to repair or change their vehicle tires, pay rent and have to resort to begging family members for financial assistance?

 How did we get to such an economic depression when the country sold 11 billion dollars’ worth of passports, yet the young people cannot find economic opportunities in Dominica and have to run to St Kitts or Antigua.

How did we get there when the largest capital project in the history of our country is taking place on the island yet even the people in the immediate location of the project have become poorer- the bars and food joint owners have had to close shop due to a depressed economy. How did the people get so poor while the leader, his family friends and cronies have become vastly opulent – buying out huge chunks of Morne Daniel and elsewhere.  

Everyone sees but nobody knows why and how we got to this level poverty and humiliation in Dominica, but conventional wisdom teaches that “nothing is more destructive of human dignity than a system that demands a mute and blind obedience” A man’s dignity lies in his ability to stake his claim and assert his worthiness of the best and so no one should be forced to eat the breadcrumbs directly from the hands of a despot or wanna be dictator. 

Every man gotta right to decide his own destiny 

And in this judgment, there is no partiality 

So arm in arms with arms

While the government officials from Antigua and Dominica may be using the Banana Republic type justice system of crooked law enforcement officials , nefarious judges and magistrates to cover-up government involvement in this heinous kidnapping and torture matter we are learning from Scotland Yard that the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS/SO15 ) has recently contacted the government of Dominica and the police hierarchy and from all indications there is a high level of panic among the police and government officials.

At this point we do not have the details regarding the notice issued by the CPS investigators but what is worth noting is that under Britain's Universal Jurisdiction Act, kidnapping and torture falls under the category of crimes against humanity and the CPS has the authority to prosecute such crimes in a British court even if the crime was committed in another country.  So, the question is-did the government and police received notification of pending or filed charges in the British court?  The people have the right to know.

In responding to allegations of his government involvement in the kidnapping and torture of Mehul Choksi PM Skerrit said “To say that the government of Dominica colluded with anybody to kidnap Mehul Choksi is absurd… give me a break. That’s total nonsense. We don’t get ourselves involved in those kinds of activities [or] those kinds of practices, not at all. That is absurd. We reject this and it is unfortunate that anybody would want to propagate this unsubstantiated claim by a gentleman who is before the court… This is not true at all,” The man is a pathological liar.

Skerrit was livid when we first exposed the fact that Skerrit himself was directly involved in the coordination of the extraordinary rendition after we received intel that he was stationed at the Kempinski Hotel coordinating and receiving regular updates from the kidnapping crew at the Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth.

Davidson Valerie is a minister of the gospel and at some point, he may find his conscience and so the journalist Carlisle John Baptist, Matt Peltier or Curtis Mathew may want to ask Valeria what exactly they received from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS/SO15)-Scotland yard investigation.

We caution Davidson Valerie tell the truth- MiTC is full of surprises.

Unless it is overhauled, deep cleaned and disinfected Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI)program will continue to be regarded as a cesspool for criminals. The frontline criminals are themselves the custodians of the program; that is the politicians, their cronies and lackies. Other criminals include agents profiting from the reckless selling of passports, the roaming crooks looking to purchase Dominica passports to facilitate unlawful activities such as money laundering and terrorist financing and the due diligence agencies with constricted vision.

 The custodians who have reaped unimaginable and verboten wealth from the crime infested CBI program will continue to scapegoat everyone else but themselves for the now ill-reputed and battered CBI program.  They discharge their spin machinery to try to convince the public to ignore the many years of shameful reports on the program yet behind closed doors they scramble to the inescapable demands from the EU and US security agencies for the cleaning up the program.

“We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying.”

Many may have seen a very recent letter from the director of the CBI program to all the authorized CBI agents. The letter states that as of January 19, 2024 the Government of Dominica is no longer selling passports to Yemini nationals. The government will never tell us why this action was taken but one thing for sure, had there been any reports about the unscrupulous selling of passports to unsavory Yemeni nationals, the government and their apologists would deny the report and denigrate the messengers and even label the messengers as terrorist.  

 Here is what is known about Dominica Yemeni nationals and the Dominica CBI program. Some very prominent and shocking Yemeni names involved in the program include Omar Sweid, one of the owners of a Yemeni exchange company Sweid and Sons Exchange CO. According to the US department of treasury Sweid was one of the key financial channels that contributed to transferring funds from the Iranian Quds Force in Tehran to the Houthis in Yemen.

It is also alleged that Omar Sweid and Ghofran Sweid both obtained Dominican citizenship in 2017. The US alleges that the company they own has been engaged in currency exchange trading activities that facilitates the recovery of misappropriated funds (money washing).

Another interesting Yemeni individual who obtain Dominican passports and off serious concern to the US is one Ahmed Abdullah Saleh Neshwan.Neshwan had been identified as an alleged suspect in the hijacking and blowing up of Brillante Virtuoso oil ship in the Gulf of Aden in July 2011.

Ibrahim and Malak Abu Lahoum are also two other very interesting Yemeni individuals who obtained Dominica passports in 2017.  Ibrahim Abu Lahoum, was the Director of the Gas Division at the Yemeni Ministry of Oil from 2006 to 2009. His name appeared in the Paradise Papers with registered offshore companies. One in Malta called SECURITY RISK MANAGEMENT LIMITED.

Malak Abu Lahoum to date faces several lawsuits in the United States. How did the multi  layered due diligence system miss this?

One element of the Dominica CBI program that seem to operate under the radar is the CARICOM IMPACTS agency. CARICOM IMPACTS which is part of the Regional Frameworks for crime and security is mandated to conduct due diligence on all CBI applicants and that is done through its sub agency the Joint Regional Communication Center (JRCC). The investigation supposedly done on every CBI applicant include document verification on passports, address, profession, employment, business ownership, source of funds, litigation, bankruptcy, regulatory and law enforcement checks with media and internet searches. We are told that a reputational risk analysis is supposedly done on every applicant; the emphasis to protect the CBI program.  The JRCC will also assess and report on any applicant with political exposed status.

The Barbados base JRCC should declare its position on what is clearly a severe breakdown in the CBI applicant vetting program. It is unacceptable that when asked to comment on the CBI due diligence fiasco that the agency offer “Zipped Lip / No Comment response). It is only fair to ask whether the JRRC and it’s staff have been compromised in any form by the largess and crookedness within the CBI program?

It is time to turn the lights on the CARICOM IMPACTS agency and demand some answers regarding their role and responsibilities in dysfunctional CBI due diligence program particularly in Dominica.

 Atop the healthcare rationing system we are also aware of the fact that the justice system “cyan even afford to pay attention let alone a post office stamp” in spite of spending more than $10 million dollars on senior counsels from Trinidad just to persecute opposition politicians from the United Workers Party.

 MiTC have been in contact with sources close to the Canada’s embassy and we can confirm that the cash strap government of Dominica has asked the Canadian authorities to provide them with about Canadian $1.8 Million to move forward with the murder case against American Jonathan Scott and Robert Snyder Jr. Both men are accused of murdering Canadian Citizens Daniel Langlois and his partner Dominique Marchand. According to our sources the Dominican authority on legal affairs told the Canadians that the $1.8 million is need to hire senior counsels from Trinidad to prosecute the case.

 We also understand that the Canadian authorities were very much disturbed by the request coming from the government of Dominica. According to one source, “ to the Canadians  it came across as extortion.” But it was even more disturbing to the Canadians when it was clear to them that the Americans Jonathan Scott and Robert Snyder Jr. are receiving preferential treatment at the state prison. MiTC was informed that  Missi Henderson allegedly ordered the state prison officials to allow unsupervised visits to the prison inmates Jonathan Scott and Robert Snyder. According to a source close to the state prison , “friends, associates and family members of the inmates are just allowed to come up to the state prison, walk in and meet with the inmates “All on the order of Missi Henderson. We are smart enough to know on whose behalf Missi Henderson is working.  

 No Money for Legal Representation in the Choksi Law Suit

It is public knowledge that kidnapped victim Mehul Choksi has filed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against the government of Dominica. MiTC can also report that some of the people named in this Mehul Choksi lawsuit are very much concerned the government of Dominica is unable to provide them with quality legal representation. The lawsuit named the following: DPP Sherma Dalrymple , the attorney general office, police officer Maximea and Lincoln Corbette.

 We are not allowed to reveal much information regarding the pending lawsuit however we want to put this question out in the public. Why was “Subsection” Lennox Lawrence not presented as the attorney general in the lawsuit. We believe he was the acting attorney general during the Choksi kidnapping operation.

To Subsection Lennox Lawrence and the crooked government of Dominica – MiTC know exactly why that is so and we will at some point reveal all of the shenanigans, the corruption and the usual pay for play plague within this crime syndicate of the Skerrit Labor Party administration.

Carbon talked about working as a constable in the Grandbay district many years ago. He stated that while stationed in Grandbay there were over 15 police officers working together with him at the same precinct and today he lamented that the police force he now leads can only afford 6 officers at the same precinct.

Daniel Carbon, the man that he once was would be forthright and upstanding – a no nonsense guy. So, were the utterances by Carbon at last week’s press briefing merely a Freudian slip or the return of the old no nonsense tendency that he once possessed?

One theory is that he is just a few months away from his retirement and might be trying to find his conscience or spine.

What Daniel Carbon was alluding to is the dilemma of having 47 police officers strictly and exclusively assigned to the PM Prime Minister and an investigation and possible prosecution of the two police officers for the St Joseph police station robbery. According to a very credible sources within the police department who stated “Just imagine they have 47 police officers assigned to guard the PM, his children, his dogs and his ill-gotten mansions. Now they want to point at fellow police officers for the corruption in the police force. “The source further added that many police officers including chief Daniel Carbon are upset with the political manipulation of the police department.

The righteous indignation within the police force over the abuse of the manpower resources to meet the insecurities of the tin pan mini-dictator and Star Boy Of Stupidity is understandable, but it is ALWAYS inappropriate and frankly criminal for the police themselves to obstruct any criminal investigation in spite of rampant selective justice within the police force.

For Future Consideration

MiTC has two questions to PM Skerrit, and we sincerely wish that at least one media person in Dominica would “balls-up” and ask the PM.

Sir have you had in any kind of business transaction(s) with the accused killer Jonathan Scott Lehrer?

Also, Sir have you directed several “official visitors” to meet and stay only at Jonathan Lehrer’s place in the Soufriere area?  

In the words the famous Q95 caller Blue Blue – “Inquiring minds want to know.”

We wish to alert readers that our publication regarding the resignation of Mrs Bertilia McKenzie is flawed. The information we received was misinterpreted ,Mrs McKenzie did not resign from the company.

 The story was a follow-up on the government’s mishandling of the Domlec company and the phantom US$50 Million dollar 5-megawatt/2.5 megawatt-hours battery energy storage system facility that was reported by our government’s international public relation group(s).

Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit conveyed gratitude to the UAE government for their significant contribution to Dominica's development.

We do understand that trust declines after retraction, but we value the old adage that “sunlight is the best disinfectant”. The article has been removed from our website.

With the government of Dominica having absolute control of the Dominica Electricity Company (DOMLEC) -its operations and finances, DOMLEC is in fact the people’s company and we the people have the right to know what is happening with our company.

We do have some more information to reveal some of which should have the people demanding the dissolution of the Independent Regulatory Commission and the resignation of the Roosevelt Skerrit administration.  

The people have the right to know that much like the government operated Petro Caribe program DOMLEC’s revenues are now being used by the government to facilitate Labor Party political agenda, government expenditures – like NEP wage bills, civil service wages and more.

Last week we revealed information regarding the government overtures to the former Kempinski Hotel to assist with the load shedding program and we also revealed that the Generator that the government was bragging about donating to DOMLEC was really a generator from the Windsor Park stadium.

A little more about this Windsor Park generator – In his press briefing last week, PM Skerrit stated that his government had assign this generator to DOMLEC  around April of this year. If that was so why then did it take an   electricity crisis in September for DOMLEC to get that generator when the warnings of a depleting generation capacity had been circulating for more than a year.

Our undercover investigations discovered that the Windsor Park generator which is essentially a standby generator could not by itself be integrated into the power generation system. It needed a switchgear for which there was no financing.

Thanks for the creativity, ingenuity and hard work of our local technicians at DOMLEC; in the middle of the crisis they banded together, collected old parts from the company’s yard, refurbished those parts and assembled a fully operable switch gear. Kudos to our technicians at Domlec.

The onsite fabrication and commissioning of a switchgear to activate the Windsor Park generator confirms what many of us have been advocating for for 20 years - genuine opportunities for our craftsmen, technicians, engineers, builders to be part of the nation building process. Even as our homegrown mechanical and electrical technicians at DOMLEC have identified the problem, recommend solutions and are working tirelessly to girder the flailing generator system, paid foreign consultants are being brought in for optics and political showmanship. 

A Paid Foreign Consultant, Venezuelans and Cuban 

According to people familiar with DOMLEC’s operations the political theatrics of ushering foreign consultants to look at a problem long identified and a solution already recommended is unnecessary. The engagement of the St Lucian base consultant Elford Felix AKA “Fix It” has the appearance of friends doing business with Friends. The people should be aware that this paid consultant from St Lucia  Elroy “Fix It “Felix is really a former employee of DOMLEC- A good friend and alleged Freemason colleague of the COO of DOMLEC, Jamaican national, Dave Stamp. Elroy is allegedly retired and is living in Florida.

According to General Manager Bertilia McKenzie “ he(Elroy) is going to undertake the assessment , tell us what he sees and give us recommendations.“ Sources familiar with DOMLEC’s operations are furious and believe that Elroy’s paid consultation gig involves the auditing of the company’s equipment maintenance program -an afront to the hardworking staff  who have given so much to maintain an aged fleet of generators that breaks down on the slightest overage and a hydro electric system hit by severe environmental weather conditions. According to a former employee of DOMLEC who said “Why pay Fix It (Elroy) to report on a problem and to regurgitate solutions already submitted while he was employed as generation manager at DOMLEC. “

Former DOMLEC employees that we have spoken to are also not convinced that the Cuban and Venezuelan consultants are able to help the situation. As they have indicated to us, if a deep overhauling of the generators is chosen over the procurement of new generators, our local technicians are more than capable of self-performing a deep overhauling operation and if so, looking to the Venezuelans or the Cubans to supply the parts required for the overhauling operation would make sense. An experience diesel mechanic that we spoke to seem to think otherwise. He noted that the Venezuelan and Cubans would most like not have the required parts in stock for the DOMLEC generators as they only deal with generators manufactured by the German company MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH whereas the DOMLEC's generators are made by the American manufacturer Caterpillar.

We must also let the people know that at this point DOMLEC /the government have not been very diligent with payments owed to the suppliers of  Caterpillar generator service parts. We can well imagine the cost of maintaining an overaged fleet of generators with regular service calls.     

The IRC -A Commission of Labor Party hacks and Obstructionist

It is widely known in Dominica that the crass and partisan heavy-handed Independent Regulatory Commission (IRC) has impeded DOMLEC’s ability to meet the increasing load demand challenges.  Besides blocking the procurement and installation of new and upgraded generators, the DLP hacks at the IRC have deliberately stalled any effort by DOMLEC to install solar electricity generating systems/solar farms. In fact, MiTC have discovered that DOMLEC possess multiple containers loaded with solar panels, inverters and accessories ready to put into operation, but the IRC will not allow them to proceed.

We have also discovered that atop a DOMLEC building in Fond Cole is a complete solar system installed and the IRC had been preventing DOMLEC from merging this roof top solar system into the grid.

We also discovered that DOMLEC also had an at ground level solar system installed at the Fond Cole yard   but the DLP hacks at the IRC demanded that the system be removed. The IRC claimed that the space should be reserved for HEAR THIS -A Switchgear for the Geothermal Electricity Generating system. At this point it is fair to say that this geothermal electricity generation system will never come to pass- Vince Henderson’s segment of the money laundering DLP crime syndicate.

In addition to the multiple containers of solar farm equipment currently in DOMLEC’s possession MiTC have also discovered that after the Hurricane Maria the government of Dominica itself received donations of solar farm equipment much of which have been squirreled away by Labor Party operatives – some of it sold to willing buyers, some still in containers with lock and keys controlled by the same DLP hyenas.

According to the experts, the solution to the problem at DOMLEC is straightforward. Apart from the low water levels at the hydro-generating plant, new generators or even a deep overhauling of the existing generators would substantively alleviate the problem. In fact, DOMLEC under previous ownership had been faced with load generating capacity issues and in one instance resorted to renting two generators out of Puerto Rico. They eventually returned one of the rented generators and then bought another generator but not without a fight with the Independent Regulatory Commission (IRC).

We now know that the integration of existing solar farm equipment and battery storage into DOMLEC’s operating grid would also help meet the increasing demand. We are further convinced that had it not been for the unwillingness of the DLP government and its band of hacks at the IRC to put away the foolish pride, cut the corruption and severe waste associated with the failed geothermal project, the people of Dominica would not be going through this ongoing electricity crisis.

We have seen it before, and we can conclude that come the next general election the government administration will chatter ferries to drop ship Dominicans from Antigua, St Marten, Guadeloupe and Martinique into Dominica yet a few weeks ago the government could not pay 60 Euros for a few government employees traveling to Guadeloupe via ferry service to make a connection flight to China. After the traveling agency rejected government promissory note to pay the traveling fare at a later date and the employees themselves too broke to foot the travel fare the employees were jam packed onto the PB Lugay like refugees and taken to Guadeloupe.

We will recall that the PB Lugay was illegally used by the police to facilitate the Mehul Choksi kidnapping operation and Choksi’s description of his encounter with the PB Lugay was that –“it was this little dinghy." Just imaging about 8 government employees to include one pregnant woman all with suitcases packed onto this little dinghy. What a humiliation.!!! 

We learn that the Chinese government sponsored a 6-week training program for these government employees. The package includes travel to China however the airline that would have taken the employees from Dominica to Guadeloupe, its employees went on strike leaving the passengers stranded. The Chinese government was not responsible for rebooking the Dominica to Guadeloupe leg of the travel and the government started begging the employees to cover the cost and even overnight expenses in Guadeloupe. Our understanding is that two of the government employees who happen to be DLP executive members were able to purchase ferry tickets and were able to get to China a week ahead of the rest of the group or should we refer to them as new members of the Choksi PB Lugay Club.    

As we watch and listen to the shameless DLP sycophants lie Dr. Gerard Joseph Goebels Jean-Jacques babble against providing the basic tenets of democracy such as a sanitized voters list and proper voter identification we should be even more triggered by the fact that the of importation of bribed illegal voters is a multi-million-dollar venture funded by our CBI revenues- in many ways. The people should be on the streets demonstrating not just for electoral reform but for a better economy, a dismal healthcare system, massive unemployment, elevated level of crime and abject poverty.

Tales of the terrible state of the healthcare system is becoming more and more unbearable -. People, young and old are dying simply because of poor health services. We heard of the unfortunate passing of a young man from Marigot following a motorcycle accident in Wesley. In addition to what we have seen on social media regarding the delayed response of an ambulance to scene of the accident there are more shocking and horrendous details.

As reported the ambulance had to come all the way from Castle Bruce to attend to the accident victim in Wesley notwithstanding the fact that Marigot now has a new hospital building with no health services of any sort at all. Here are some details that the public may not be aware off.

After more than an hour of delayed arrival of the ambulance, the ambulatory travel from Wesley to the main hospital in Roseau was also grim. With a severely injured patient the driver had to stop the ambulance due to overheating brakes, a sign of poor vehicle maintenance but that wasn’t all, the ambulatory service unit ran out of IV drips.

It gets worse- Due to Domlec’s ongoing load shedding operation there was a power outage at the hospital and the automatic backup generator was malfunctioning and did not kick in and so there was a long delay before the injured patient could be taken into the surgical operation. On top off all of that the hospital staff was complaining about using too much gauze to suppress the severe bleeding.

A country that does not have the capacity to control its resources, provide minimal public services and one where the citizens no longer believe that their government is legitimate in the eyes of the international community is essentially a failed state –Are we there yet?

When Roosevelt Skerrit came into the office of prime minister as a young politician he immediately showed us exactly who he is – a liar , a thief , a conniving and avaricious bastard. (Yes a bastard he is fatherless). A young man who came into the prime minister's position as an earthworm, with not much of a penny to his name or even a kailles pool (fowl cage) but he wasted no time chasing at instant opulence. In less than three years after becoming PM of this little island with annual budget of $500 Million Skerrit had already amassed or stolen more than $100 Million for himself. There were Swiss offshore bank accounts, 8 villas in Savanne Pailles, a mansion in Vielle Case, real estate all around the island and had purchased the land where the house of dark secret is magestically rising in the middle of Roseau. 

Sooner than later, we will get a true picture of how filthy rich Skerrit has become by just stealing from the people and exactly why he proudly uses the moniker Jack Sparrow when dealing with his underworld friends and business characters. Tik Tik Tik Tik

 The young man was not shy about flaunting the ill-gotten wealth either .In an email to his architect Suprya Singh he expressed his desire to have his first dwelling house outshine that of the well to do Nassiefs. In the face of the brazen high day pillaging of Dominica many people opted to defend him- some said give the young man a chance, he has dimples, some said that we who fought for good governance were jealous of the young  thief. Some of the clergy even sanctified Skerrit’s Mafioso activities- the boldface selling of passports for personal benefits, over inflated public procurement of goods and services, tax evasion , rigging of elections etc.

Our country is now grappling with a shop lifting scandal involving another very young politician, the selected Parliamentary Representative for the Paix Bouche constituency Lakeya Joseph. Very disappointing but not surprising many people are rushing to cover up and defend her actions and what that reminds me off the early days of the Roosevelt Skerrit kleptocracy.

 Do we really want to go down that same road with another young , arrogant , greedy and overly ambitious young politician?

 Hopefully, just hopefully, after getting a full picture of what transpired at the Jolly’s mega store those who we believe know better will not make the same mistake and finally stand on the side of morality, truth and justice.

 In deed Lateya was caught on camera stealing from the store – no spin or fancy diplomacy can change that fact. After taking her shopping items to the cash register the casher began the checkout process calling up a number of items but then suddenly the minister of government Lateya asked the casher for some other items that she wanted but did not pickup so the casher kindly got up from her seat and went to pickup the items Lateya wanted and it was there Lateya seized on the opportunity. She placed some of the items that were not checked out by the casher into the bag that contained the items that were already checked out.

A security guard, not the one who unsuspectingly helped her take her items to her vehicle suspected something sneaky with Lateya so he alerted the management. The camera footages were reviewed, and the minister of government Lateya Joseph was caught red handed sneaking unchecked items into the shopping bag.  Before Tony comes by to spin there was no snap chat, no camera tricks – just raw footages of the dishonorable minister Lateya shop lifting.

After reviewing the cameras Lateya was given a courtesy call . During the courtesy call Lateya offered to pay for the stolen items via electronic payment but she was told that she needs to come in to view the camera recordings and so she did. It was at that meeting she was given the option to either pay three times the cost of the stolen goods or to call the police. She was frantic, embarrassed and opted to pay the triple cost.

 Arrogant yet so So naïve - had she opted to call the police there is no doubt Carbon, Valerie, Corbette and the Maniku Gang would have buried that story near the fuel tanks at police headquarters and like E Z Door, Siko Seko, Bakes who was investigated for stealing oxygen from the hospital,  Pinard , Krazy T and the many other DLP criminal cronies they would all return to their position of “Volereism and Aviolerism like nothing ever happened. SMFH

Up to this point minister Lateya has taken no responsibility for her actions. She has instead resorted to lying and spinning the story so much so as to even blame Jolly’s and has attempted to throw the casher and security guard under the proverbial bus. In what I consider frightening arrogance she wrote and quickly deleted a comment stating “ I said what I said “She made that comment after she was called out for presenting a false and senseless account of what had happened at jolly’s mega store.

 While I am not calling for total condemnation of Lateya Joseph I am also not ready to have another young budding politician with Skerrit like tendencies holding high government office again. She has shown us who she is – a shop lifter, a liar, arrogant , unrepentant and false entitlement. We cannot continue to promote this type of traits as appropriate for high government officials. We don’t expect any disciplinary action from PM Jack Sparrow who we understand is going to be absent for a month. Even more so Jack Sparrow cyan condemn piracy so minister Lateya must on her own volition resign immediately.
