We know you are anxious about our take on the Panama Papers and we promise you that we will deliver. I can tell you though, that the information is so voluminous and the web is so intricate that it will take time to sort through and present in a coherent manner. In the meantime, we wanted to give you a progress report on our Goatville story.
Two days after our story broke, we got reports from inside the Financial Center that instructions had gone out to have Goatville cleaned up immediately. Apparently, high-ranking officials and employees of the government of Dominica, being frequent readers of this blog, were embarrassed by our story. The Minister of Tourism sent out word to have it cleaned up. The contractors who received these instructions, however, had already gotten instructions from higher up; that's right, Prime Minister Skerrit, said to have been enraged, ordered his staff to ensure Goatville is cleaned up.
And we have proof. Here you see Labourites, emblazoned in their everyday Labour Ka Twavay uniform t-shirts, busy cleaning up the grounds of Goatville. Amazing, isn't it? God bless their hearts; they listened to us.
